1. Digital Goods Nature
CLBReady provides digital educational services, including AI assessments, mock exams, and preparation material. Because these products are digital and access is granted immediately upon successful payment, they are generally considered "used" the moment they are accessed.
2. Subscription Packages
If you are on a recurring billing cycle (e.g., monthly Pro access):
- Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal in your account settings. Once canceled, you will not be charged for the next billing cycle.
- Post-Cancellation Access: You will retain access to premium features until the end of your current paid billing period.
- No Partial Refunds: We do not offer prorated refunds for partially used subscription periods.
3. Exam Credits & One-Time Purchases
For purchases of specific exam credits or one-time AI evaluation packages:
- Non-Refundable: Once credits have been utilized to generate an exam or process an AI evaluation, the cost of those credits is fundamentally non-refundable, as the server and AI compute costs have already been incurred by us.
- Unused Credits: If you accidentally purchase credits and have absolutely zero usage history on those new credits, you may request a refund within 48 hours of purchase.
4. Exceptions and Technical Failures
We stand by the quality of our platform. Exceptions to our strict no-refund policy will be made in the following scenarios:
- Critical Service Outages: If a documented bug or extended server outage prevents you from accessing the Service you paid for during a critical study window.
- AI Assessment Failures: If an audio upload or essay submission repeatedly fails to process and completely consumes your credits without returning an evaluation result.
- Duplicate Charges: In the event of a billing error or duplicate transaction processed by our payment provider.
Please note that "not achieving a desired score" on the official test does not qualify as grounds for a refund.
5. How to Request a Refund
If you believe your situation falls under our exception policies or you wish to request a refund for unused accidental purchases, please follow these steps:
- Email our support team at billing@clbready.com.
- Include the email address associated with your account.
- Provide a detailed explanation of the issue, and if applicable, screenshots of any technical failures.
Our billing team manually reviews all requests within 2-3 business days. Approved refunds may take up to 5-10 business days to reflect on your original payment method, depending on your bank.
